“We were without a sax player when Mic Gilette said, "I know just the right guy" and Johnnie came in right when we needed him. He fit the bill perfectly and he played with us.  Johnnie's a great player and a really fun hang. Love that guy.“

Loco Moco
Jazz Orchestra

This new 16 piece group has been formed by native Bay Area musicians and longtime friends John Worley (trumpet/flugelhorn), Rob Sudduth (woodwinds) and Johnnie Bamont (woodwinds). Loco Moco will feature some of the best local jazz musicians that include educators and teachers from the Bay Area.  “We also wanted to feature a library made up of compositions and arrangements by band members and other SF Bay Area composers and arrangers.” Loco Moco: a bowl of unusual ingredients, layered to make a delicious meal when mixed together.
